Floyd Bernard Kelly was born in London in 1933. He grew up in the kind of poverty that most of us have heard stories about but have never been face-to-face with. At twelve years of age he left school to help support his family. For the next decade he worked two, three, or four jobs at a time. In his twenties he moved to Australia and began a long and prosperous career as a businessman who was passionate about two things: excellence and helping people grow.

 

Matthew Floyd Kelly was born in Sydney, Australia, in 1973. He is the fourth of his father’s eight sons. Every night at the dinner table a broad range of topics was discussed, but particular attention and passion were focused on business and the art of being an entrepreneur.

Today, Matthew Kelly is the New York Times best-selling author of more than twenty books that have sold more than fifty million copies and have been published in more than thirty languages.
